Greenwood Tree Trimming

Don’t cut down a tree that simply needs to be trimmed! Tree trimming or pruning a tree correctly can greatly extend the life of a tree. We get all sorts of benefits from trees - in both our lives and for our homes. For that reason, we never want to cut down a tree that doesn’t actually need it. That means you can trust our friendly tree doctors to give you an accurate quote on your tree service - including tree trimming!
Proper yard maintenance is a very important part of maintaining a home or business. Caring for the health of your trees correctly can improve the life of the tree and your entire yard! One form of tree maintenance is tree pruning. That is, removing dead or dying branches. Pruning can keep trees from growing in an undesirable direction. This includes power lines. We can trim trees in order to avoid utility lines, homes, even fences. Sticking to a consistent schedule for tree trimming can encourage your tree to grow in a way best suited for the environment it’s in. Think of it like a tree tune-up!

We even have techniques called cabling or bracing to help you preserve falling or weak trees. We provide both services in order to strengthen trees. Cabling and branching can also help trees weather storms.

Tree bracing is when a crew installs a rod through the branch of a tree in order to prevent the branch from breaking off. This can also be done at the junction of multiple branches. These rods can help keep a tree from twisting during a storm. This not only helps stabilize the branch, but can keep them from breaking.

Conversely, cabling a tree involves taking strong cables and stabilizing a tree trunk or tree branch that is growing in an unstable manner. If you have a branch that sits horizontally, for instance, it can get quite heavy during a snowstorm or wind event. Cabling can add extra support during this time of added weight, and to keep the branch from falling somewhere unwanted like a fence. Both cabling and bracing can prevent branches and tree trunks from splitting or falling during stressful events like storms.

We are proud to offer both tree cabling and tree bracing in addition to our other pruning and tree trimming options. We welcome your calls, whether you own your own home or business.
